Labradorite hand wrapped in antiqued copper. Yards of pure copper wire and hours of craftsmanship went into making this one of a kind wirewrapped jewelry. The labradorite gemstone is absolutely beautiful! The stone's colors dance and shimmer in the light. You can stare at it for hours. Unfortunately this piece sold as soon as I posted it. But I have plenty more handmade wire wrapped jewelry in my online store, click here!

First Place in Nicole Hanna's September "Finish It! Design Challenge"
Recently I entered this piece in Nicole Hanna's "Finish It! Design Challenge". And to my surprise I came in 1st place! Thanks to Nicole for running the contest!
To enter the contest I had to follow the first few steps in one of Nicole's tutorials. I then had to leave the rest of the design to my own creativeness. Required wire gauges and lengths were part of the rules, along with the size of the cabochon.
My contest entry was done in pure copper which was then oxidized and polished to give it that antiqued look. The cabochon is actually a vintage stone that I got from my girlfriend's grandmother. I'm not sure what minerals make up the stone, or if it's even stone at all. But it still looks great set in this copper antiqued wire wrap pendant.
I'll have this pendant and a similar one that I first made as a prototype for the contest for sale in my StoreEnvy store.
