Ammonite Necklace

This handmade wire wrap pendant was wrapped with pure copper wire that flows beautifully around an ammonite fossil. The copper was then antiqued to give a rustic look.
You will receive the exact, unique, one of a kind, handmade, wire wrapped ammonite pendant shown in the photos.

Over 6 hours of craftsmanship went into the creation of this wire wrapped ammonite necklace pendant.

So the ammonite pendant can be worn right away; I've included a free adjustable slip knot 2mm wide black braided paracord. The cord is UV coated and resistant to mildew and rot.

Pendant Dimensions

Pendant Over-all Size:48 x 31 mm
Bale inside diameter: 5 x 7 mm

Actual colors may vary slightly. This is due to the fact that every device (phone, tablet, PC monitor) has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. I try to edit the photos to show the jewelry as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your device's display.

About Ammonite

Ammonites were predatory, squid like creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells between 240 - 65 million years ago and went extinct with the dinosaurs. Ammonite shells are a naturally occurring example of the Fibonacci sequence in nature. The ammonite in this wire wrapped pendant is from Madagascar.

Dried Flowers & Resin - Tree of Life Necklace Pendant - Handmade Jewelry by Tim Whetsel

I was taking a hike in the mountains on the Skyline Trail in Southern California and found these beautiful dried wild flowers. I picked a bunch and brought them home and cast them in some resin. The cabochons came out awesome! Here is a sterling silver tree of life pendant made with my new wild flowers cabochon. It came out so well that I made 5 more of these resin and wildflower cabochons. If this one is sold out, please contact me to have a custom made wire wrapped tree of life pendant made just for you!

Small Wire Wrapped Orgone Pendant with Mother of Pearl

This handmade necklace pendant was wrapped in pure copper wire. It was then oxidized/antiqued and polished to accentuate the wraps, weaves, and twists of the wire.

The focal in the center is an orgonite cabochon that I made as well. Inside the orgonite cabochon I put mother of pearl chips that I found on the gulf coast beaches of Florida. The orgonite also contains mixed metals and beach sand from the gulf coast. The mother of pearl chips are really shimmery and full of flashing colors.

Turn the lights off and the orgonite pendant glows a bright green.

Wire Wrap Collaboration With Adami Glass

Glass by Adami Glass - Wire Wrapped by ©2014 Tim Whetsel Jewelry
Collaboration with Adami Glass.

Recently I was asked to do a colab with Adami Glass. They sent me this beautiful hand blown glass cabochon for me to apply my artistic wire wrapping to. This is probably my most elaborate wire wrap to date. I spent about 3 days weaving and wrapping this heady pendant in antiqued copper. The cabochon from Adami Glass is absolutely beautiful! The colors in the cabochon dance, flash, and change in the light. Adami Glass sent me two of these along with some other cool hand blown glass pieces. I have to send this one to Adami Glass, but I have another one of these plus some other nice things to wrap. So I will be wrapping another one of these cabochons in the future and plan to sell it in my online store.
